Miguel Böhmer moves his atelier (or workshop) to SN Macarena Gallery introducing a series of drawings which have a marine theme drawn in colored pencils on linen.

With the texture of the colored pencils, he achieves vibrations of violet, magenta and vermilion through the juxtaposition between warm and cold tones. Böhmer decontextualizes the marine figures to create portraits which depict the duality between the familiar and the unfamiliar.
